Dispatch and fleet tracking system
For a Hungarian haulage company operating more than 80 vehicles, we built a dispatch platform and a driver mobile app that replaced phone-and-spreadsheet operations.
The starting point
Dispatchers organised daily transports in spreadsheets and over the phone: there was no reliable picture of vehicle positions, paper consignment notes often came back late or incomplete, and invoicing slipped by weeks as a result. The client wanted a system that drivers would actually be happy to use, not just the office.
Our solution
We built a web dispatcher interface with map-based vehicle tracking and drag-and-drop trip planning, plus a deliberately simple driver app: drivers see their daily rounds, report status with one tap and record deliveries with a photo. The system also integrates with the existing ERP, so completed trips flow automatically into invoicing. Rollout was gradual: we first refined the workflows with a ten-vehicle pilot group under real conditions.
The outcome
Paper consignment notes have practically disappeared, dispatchers see the whole fleet in real time, and the invoicing cycle shortened from weeks to days. We continue to operate and extend the system — a fuel accounting module was added in the second phase.
